As part of the NTFS-3G
quality assurance process, the NTFS-3G team
has ported Pawel Jakub Dawidek's POSIX file system test suite to Linux.
The test suite checks POSIX compliance and works for FreeBSD, Solaris, and Linux with UFS, ZFS, ext3, XFS and NTFS-3G with full ownership and permission support.
The list of system calls tested is: chmod, chown, link, mkdir, mkfifo, open, rename, rmdir, symlink, truncate, unlink. There are currently 1950 regression tests.
The latest release is pjd-fstest-20080412.tgz, released on April 12, 2008.
